League of American
Bicyclists -The nation's oldest bicycle
advocacy organization, promoting bicycling for fun,
fitness and transportation and work through advocacy and
education for a bicycle-friendly America.
Alliance for
Biking and Walking -- Formerly known as the
"Thunderhead Alliance," the Alliance promotes and supports
bicycle and pedestrian advocacy groups. The Alliance
is an organization of advocacy organizations, so if you are
a member of BACA (an Alliance member organization, you are a
member of the Alliance as well.
Adventure Cycling
Association. Their mission: to inspire
people of all ages to travel by bicycle. The "go-to"
folks for bicycle touring, and sponsors of the National
Bicycle Route System.
International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA).
IMBA is dedicated to providing, preserving, and enhancing
great trail experiences for mountain bikers, worldwide.
